Welcome to SCC!
Thank you for taking the time to visit us. We hope you capture a glimpse of Southington Christian Church. The purpose of our service is to help you connect with God in a personal way. We seek to express the solid truths of the Bible in a relevant and meaningful way.
The community of Southington is a mixture of backgrounds and ages and you will see that reflected in our congregation and worship. Some wear their "Sunday's best" while others dress more casual. Sometimes you will hear our praise band leading contemporary praise and worship music. At other times we'll sing traditional hymns.
Our teaching will take you deep into God's Word showing its simple, practical truths. So whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants a place to grow and serve, you can find a home at SCC.
Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible – a community. We are committed to developing relationships that produce love, acceptance, encouragement, service and sacrifice for one another.
On Wednesdays we have several targeted group studies for children, teens, women, as well as Dinner & Devotions, for adults. We also hold a "Holy Grounds Cafe" service most Sunday nights during the school year. These services are very casual and family friendly.
If you have any questions please call or email me. Again, thank you for coming and if you do not have a regular church, I hope you'll consider making SCC your church home.

On your first visit, come into the left building as viewed from the road. When you enter the lobby you’ll see a visitor’s desk. Please feel free to pick up one of our blue guest folders filled with information.
Someone should greet you in the lobby and guide you and your family to the right location. We have separate programs for children but if you would like them to stay with you, that’s no problem. If you would like to sit in on their class, that’s okay as well.
If you would like to just check us out, that’s fine. We’re not going to point you out as a visitor and we won’t draw attention to you in the service.
We do hope you will fill out the card you find in the guest packet and place it in the offering. As a guest, please do not feel you need to contribute during the offering. We’re happy just to have you visit. If you have any questions we haven’t answered on this web site, please feel free to email me:
